Members of the Virginia Hunting Preserve Association will place you in contact with other knowledgeable growers and preserve operators statewide.
By joining VHPA you will also receive the quarterly Association News, published by member Lyn Smith. The Journal is full of useful information on game bird raising, game bird diseases, prevention and cures, and preserve operations. It draws on the expertise of nationally renowned veterinarians, professors, breeders, and preserve operators.
Bird Dog Hall of Famer and nationally recognized training seminar leader, Rick Smith provides featured articles on hunting dog instruction.
The Annual Membership fee is $40.00 and the Association is open to all growers and preserve operators in Virginia.
To initiate licensing a new preserve, contact Virginia Game & Inland Fisheries at 804-367-1000 and ask for the Hunting Preserve permit section.
